GO TO CUSTOMS CLEARANCE IN PMR IN 2015
2014 YEAR:
After long debates, the government of PMR decided to postpone the restriction on the import of vehicles to 10 years. Thus, in 2014, the import of cars up to 14 years old, from the year 2000, was allowed.
Customs duties, according to information from customs service employees, remain unchanged.
In 2014, the following customs duties apply to the import of cars in Transnistria:
2012 - 2014 (up to 3 years) - 2.3% of the vehicle's value, but not less than $0.23/cm3
2008 - 2011 (from 3 to 7 years) - 4.6% of the vehicle's value, but not less than $0.29/cm3
2004 - 2007 (from 7 to 10 years) - 7% of the vehicle's value, but not less than $0.40/cm3
2000 - 2003 (from 10 to 15 years) - 9.2% of the vehicle's value, but not less than $0.63/cm3
For cars with a gasoline engine over 3000 cm3 and a diesel engine over 2500 cm3:
2012 - 2014 (up to 3 years) - 16% of the vehicle's value, but not less than $1.10/cm3
